1. Equipment in front of furnace
1.1. The burners or hole opener shall be in good working condition.
1.2.8 — 16 ingot molds, 3-4 borehole harrows and 2 mud ball shovels.

2. Operate in front of the furnace
2.1. The electric furnace is in normal operation. The number of iron casting of 12.5MVA electric furnace is four furnas per shift, and each time the iron casting is about 10-20min, but the time of new iron casting is allowed to increase by 10min.
2.2. After each shift takes over, sufficient mud balls, iron bars, suitable sized hole rake, scraper, slag rake, iron ladle and slag pot for the shift must be prepared.
2.3. Check whether the iron ladle and slag pot are dry and intact, and whether the working tools in front of the furnace are complete and undamaged.
2.4. Iron tapping: according to the difficulty of opening the furnace hole, the iron rod piercing, the oxygen burning of the burner can be used to open the iron tapping mouth. No matter which method is used, the eyes must be opened from the upper part of the iron tapping mouth, but try not to open the eyes with oxygen.
2.5. Plug the hole in time after the slag iron is discharged, and then clean up the residue from the iron outlet. When burning the eyes, the inside and outside the mouth should be taken into account, and the artificial eye plugging is required to be deep and have a margin of more than 200mm. Manually check for confirmation after plugging.
2.6. Adopt two-step slag scraping method to reduce metal loss as much as possible.
2.7. After slag scraping, pouring should be carried out. The pouring speed should be controlled to reduce splashing and less hanging bags.
2.8. In order to prevent hot metal from burning the ingot mold during casting, sheet finished nickel-iron was laid at the burning point.
2.9. When using dual-phase burners to plug the eyes, pay attention to the fact that the two-phase burners should not touch the baffle at the same time. It must be closed first and then put an iron bar to prevent close-range arc burns.
3. The finishing
3.1. Warehousing shall be finished according to the brand and the granularity shall meet the requirements of the contract.
3.2. Non-metallic inclusions must be removed from the surface of stored alloys.
3.3. In the process of casting and alloy finishing and storage, it must be carefully operated to prevent impurities from mixing into the alloy.
