Self-baking electrode (electrode paste) furnace for smelting ferro-aluminum-silicon alloy
Mainly used aluminum refractory material-high aluminum brick masonry. Three layers of graphite carbon bricks are laid on the bottom of the furnace and one layer of graphite carbon bricks are laid on the wall of the furnace. Before opening the furnace, a layer of electrode paste is rammed at the bottom of the furnace with an average thickness of 200mm.
Raw material preparation:
Content: AL2O3 55%-90% SIO2 20%-30%.
Size: 30-120mm rinse clean
Ferrosilicon smelting and other alloys, in the application of the primary agent is the most unique. Bituminous coal accounts for more than 80% of the reducing agent used.
Composition: 15%-25% volatile, less than 20% ash, less than 55% fixed carbon, good slagging performance.
In fact, the normal smelting of silicon aluminum ferroalloy is not too high requirements for silica, we have used from 90% to 99% of the content of SiO2, and even the use of overcooked silica, the impact of smelting is not very big. In addition to special cases, generally more than 95% of silica can be used. However, when opening the furnace, it is still required to be more strict: SiO2 is greater than 98%, good anti-explosion, rinse clean, and the particle size is less than 100mm.
This kind of raw material is indispensable in our smelting test, and it plays a catalytic role in the reduction of aluminum in the whole smelting process.
Furnace smelting ingredients to consider low temperature factors, can be used ferrosilicon furnace and then converted to smelting ferrosilicon aluminum. However, we are using direct smelting silicon aluminum iron. The furnace charge batch is carried out in accordance with the aluminum content of the product 25%, the silicon content of 35%, the furnace should be rich in carbon operation, according to the different raw materials, here can not give the exact material batch.
