Blast furnace splashing is mainly caused by the gas or water vapor in the blast furnace entering the iron hole through the cracks, causing the iron hole to splash. The processing method is:
1. Make iron out of the nest
That is to say, after the iron hole is drilled, if the splashing is serious, the gun can be blocked immediately, but the mud can not be hit too much, and the hole of the iron hole can be blocked. After a few minutes, the iron is re-tapped, which is what is called “making a nest”. iron. The principle is that the molten iron is pressed out of the iron hole by the pressure in the furnace, and the pressure of the blow-by gas is basically equal to the pressure of the hearth. At this time, the gun is blocked due to the high pressure of the gun piston. The pressure of the blow-by gas, so a small amount of molten iron will be pressed into the gap between the gas and the hole of the iron hole under the action of the pressure, and the gun mud that has been driven into the iron hole is sealed in the gap and solidified, thereby sealing the gap and blocking the gas. effect.
This method is easy to implement, simple to operate, and can effectively inhibit the spattering problem of the iron hole, but it causes repeated consumption of materials in front of the furnace and cannot eliminate the spattering problem of the iron hole.
2. Using special gun mud
As a refractory material that blocks the tap hole and directly contacts the splashed iron flow, gun mud plays a vital role in stabilizing the tapping of the blast furnace and restraining the tap hole from splashing. The selection of high-quality gun mud with good physical and chemical properties (high body density, low porosity, good corrosion resistance and erosion resistance at room temperature and high temperature, etc.) can effectively inhibit the spatter of the iron mouth and improve the state of the iron mouth.
However, high-quality gun clay is relatively expensive, and long-term use will inevitably increase the cost of pig iron, and the use of high-quality gun clay cannot solve the problem of iron spatter from the root.
3. Refractory material press-in
The grouting method is used in the iron port and tuyere area to press in the fluid refractory material. When the fluid refractory material is solidified, it will block the gas channel stringing into the iron port, so as to solve the problem of iron port splashing.
